Good to see life so early, dogs have been out and the Nespresso has been in action all that remains is to "sort" out 'arry. All of these things bring a smile to my face, there is nothing like feeding the dogs to make me grin. Hope Patty is feeling it today too. HAPPY XMAS to you all. Phil

Up at 6.30. Stockings opened on our bed and then up at 7 to open the rest. Just about to enjoy some lovely warm baguettes with bacon and then drove to bournemouth to the inlaws.
Merry xmas

It is truly amazing how many nuts and biscuit nibbles can be eaten during the long wait for the turkey to cook properly ..... and even then it's meant to rest for a whole hour !!! sigh ....... Pass the wine please ......... (a very lucky chance buy, an absolutely superb rose from a vinyard in Yorkshire, I will be definitely be buying some stock of it later))

Turkey is in. Have some fizz opened but both Ali and me are rather fragile after yesterdayβs partying. Kids and partners will arrive soon so I need to reset my head ready to celebrate the day. Best wishes to all, even the miserable ones π

Phil Thanks Phil..Didn't go too bad, I found me a friend whose sort of bit younger than my mum would have bin and reminded me a lot of her. I hope that we keep in touch. Its been a long time since Ive felt comfortable with a friendship. I guess when your (ex)best friend does the dirty with your (ex) hubby it makes you very cautious of friendships. We spent the day mainly chatting and then went dancing where there were few nice old boys and a not so nice one. Didn't over eat and just the one glass of bucks fizz....
