I was indeed (well remembered Vince)...
AS well as being lucky to be ginger, I'm also lucky to be able to see the best in both sexes (I say both cause I can't get my head around gender fluidity)... I've fallen in love with 2 girls in my past... in total disclosure, I'd have been a dad had the first one not miss-carried... bizarre to think I'd have had a 28 year old "kid".
eta: I did in fact have a brief dalliance with a neighbour of mine (lady) for a few months in my early 30s but once again, saw the light and thought better/different of it.

Have you considered women? (Addressed to quaysider ) No chance. Once you have seen the light, there would be no possibility of going back. I suppose that depends on which orifice the light shines out of?

That's rather coarse !
Also grammatically incorrect as it is not possible to start a question with "I suppose". The question mark at the end should be a full stop.

It is held by some to be grammatically incorrect to start a sentence with "suppose" (e.g. "Suppose we meet up next week?") precisely because the personal pronoun is absent, and it is also correct to close the sentence with a question mark for the simple reason that it is a question.

Jim made a statement but added a question mark to the end of it. It's all got a creeping Americanisation feel to it.

Jim made a statement but added a question mark to the end of it. Since written language is simply the way of recording spoken language by using lines and circles, and since the sentence mentioned could be asked in the manner of a question with the speaker using the pitch and cadence of a question, then it would be correct to record this in written language by using a question mark.

I see Mr Picky Pedant is bored this affy. It was my statement, my creation, so I know what I wanted to say and said it;
"rhetorical question" noun a question asked in order to create a dramatic effect or to make a point rather than to get an answer. "the presentation was characterized by impossibly long sentences and a succession of rhetorical questions"

I was not addressing you ?
ETA also it is "characterised" not "characterized".
You really ought to get onto this issue and make reasonable attempts to resolve it.

Anyway, back to the topic in question. I hate Gingers and if they were reduced to the size of ants I would chase them around on a sunny day with a magnifying glass.

ETA it is usually not necessary to specifically quote a poster if your post appears immediately after theirs. If someone else has had the temerity to introduce an interlocution then an edit may be worthwhile.
