Last time I went to Co-op (Co-op's?)it was only a basic shop but the 'brothers' there charged me an eye watering sum. So, it's Aldi's for me in the future.

No-one commented on the question marks at the end of sentences that were not questions. I'm afraid I hate that too?

Australia was known as the biggest Sergeant's Mess in the world in the RAF. Not an Officer to be seen! (Some might say that's a good thing, eh Peterboat!)

Does this mean that it's ok to abuse poor grammar, syntax and style at last? Try this: I mostly go to Tesco's for my shopping? Their not bad, but I could of gone to the Co-op instead? There meat is cheaper on Monday I'm always late to the party. There is no - in Coop. We are doing a cwdf and deleting recent history, back to being Coop.

Here's the Co-op in Roros, Norway. "A co-operative is an autonomous association of persons united voluntarily to meet their common economic, social, and cultural needs and aspirations through a jointly-owned and democratically-controlled enterprise." Does that open at 9 am. God, I wish

'ASDA' is just a name (?) whereas Tesco is a surname. You all compose comments to 'Thunderboat' but you don't necessarily agree with naughtyfox's comments. Origin of the Tesco name is from "Thomas Edward Stockwell Company. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/TescoASDA came from Associated Dairies IIRC. Edited to correct autowrong.

Yeah, always remember when you travel to Australia to reply like this, when at Border Control they ask you if you have a criminal record: "I didn't know you still needed one!" Try that and then see how speedy your transit through immigration isn't

Try that and then see how speedy your transit through immigration isn't They must have got sick of that question. Poms can go through the automated gates nowπ Have things changed in Oz immigration then because we had a massive wait at Brisbane airport in 2013 while all the Oz and New Zealanders were processed rapidly through a few gates and our queue was through just one gate? Eventually, when all the locals had been processed they put one of the guys from the Oz gates onto our queue which speeded it up a little. We had such a long wait that the guy asking about any incoming food, wood and muddy shoes etc worked his way down our queue to save time later. Roger
