The new library is well worth a visit, it's a very short walk from Brindley Place. There are outside terraces on the upper floors which give great views. We've just been on both garden areas and to the top. We had a wonderful look around the library. Thank you. Even my ten year went wow as we went up the stairs. (Can't spell escalater) Moored in Brindley place opposite the tour boats. Very quiet at night and what a city

Bosworth lady has just come in opposite but we are eating and the windows are steamed up. Will have a look which one he's on. We have seen a lot of them.

Well we're back at the Cape of good hope. Cracking pub by the way.
I've enjoyed some great meals. Drawbridge Inn. Shrewsly. Twice. A few greene king pubs but there cheap and adequate.
Lapworth yesterday and Hatton today. We went down today with a boat called cormorant. A wonderful old 62ft with an amazing sounding and smelling lister engine. It had fellows morton & clayton written on the side.they had just brought it to do up. Lovelly chatting to the owner all about it on the way down.
Fil slipped on some brickwork getting off and fractured his collarbone at King's norton so my misses and ten year old got us down Lapworth as I had to steer. Not a vollockie in sight. They enjoyed it.
I will have to say over the last eight months I have been reading many threads on both sites and this week has been so much easier because of the stuff I have learned. Thank you. All though we upset two boat owners this week one at shirley drawbridge. If your on here I'm so sorry. There was a hire boat on the bollards and I couldn't pull in. Sorry.
But there were some amazing bits of steering to get out of the way to balance it out. How comes you don't meet boats on the wide bits but only on tight corners with boats Moored up. Lol
If I met any of you thank you. My first time crew. My family and her parents have all ready almost booked next year's holiday.
That old boat we came down with today hired once and them brought their own. I think that's my inlaws. Well I hope coz then I can meet you lot on the cut.

Sorry it took so long I couldent work out how to link the video then I forgot. Hatton main flight in around the 2 hour mark. We had just picked up the hire boat in Warrick and it was my crews first trip. We met up with another kate boats large crew who had travelled up from Stockton on their first trip. We got faster and bear in mind i was steering and videoing at the same time. m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=10157617969655023&id=564075022
