Hiya and Welcome to both Murf & Haggis, I'm sure you both will fit in quite nicely here I should warn you, the only thing I like about cats is chasing the b*ggers. LOL That's OK Murf, my old Tom loved to have a go with cute wee dogs.....I'll suggest he gets his claws sharp To be honest, he passed away a couple of years back, we had him & his sister since they were kittens, and they both passed away in their 15 year. As a child, growing up in the country, I always had a dog and a couple of cats. The cats were barn cats and the dog was my pet, so I tend to enjoy the company of both. But that was back in the days when you could open your back door and let the dog out for a run and to do "their business" in one of the fields; there was none of this 'taking the dog for a walk' and then having to pick up their warm excrement and properly dispose of it after. The thought of doing that, just about sickens me; although I am appreciative of the people who take the time and effort to do just that. That's why since moving to the UK, I've avoided having a dog. Cats, to me are just easier...empty the covered litter tray every couple of days, not quite so 'hands on', even if they (dogs) are more loyal and provide much better company
