Hello and welcome to all those wonderful people who've joined since I last said hello....... Im not addicted to exclamation marks but to lines of dots.......I'm with you on that one Patty - They're my favourite... I don't use them correctly (I think they're called eclipses?) but they are very handy for making a line of text appear like a real conversation... complete with pauses ... that lead the reader to thinking something else will follow... ... ... sometimes it does... ... sometimes however ... lol :-)

I'm at a bit of a loss as to what I want to say here. I feel a bit of a cheat as I don't have a boat, am not technically inclined and don't really enjoy an argument just for the sake of arguing. I did at one time have a 30 ft carvel timber cabin cruiser and the wife and I were active members of a boating club. I'm drawn to this site because whilst living in Oz.I was born and lived in Birmingham for 23 years, had a part of the family that lived in a cottage just up from Catherine de Barnes next to the cut at Elmdon Heath where I spent a fair bit of my childhood 60years ago. I feel I know some of you from being on the old forum as Timbouy. So look forward to catching up. Cheers Tim

A man of deepened sensitivities might get upset by such a comment.

AM I allowed here? I haven't got a boat. as long as you haven't got a caravan, it's people who have caravans that aren't allowed.
