I think the best thing to do is blame immigrants until we have any facts.

I'm not sure the Abrahamic God is keen on co-existance, He/She wont even allow the Gods of other religions a look in. He insists on having no other God but him, does that mean he ackowledges the other Gods exist but being a bully and a narcissist he wants all the glory for himself. Would he allow Science to co-exist? Duno...you choose...

I place humans at the top of the known tree. I'm not going to feel guilty or inadequate for being a simple human. Religion is an interference that comes between human relationships. Unfortunately, religions comes along as part of the baggage that people carry. As such, it is difficult to ignore the impact of religion. I'm fine with any person that holds religious beliefs, up to a point. The most obvious point is reached when violence is used. Put into simple terms, then, they have lost their marbles. By then, they have been manipulated to the extreme and human life has no value. It is an extreme insult, and I don't know how such people can expect anything other than rejection.

Hahaha! What's all this then? Someone in Canalworld sent me a link to this site (new site?) and I saw everyone has piled in here! Apart from the dried-up old prunes. And who has nicked my name Emerald Fox? Couldn't use it to register. Still, I suppose 'Naughty Fox' will do, Lady Cassandra and Wrigglefingers both think I'm 'naughty'. God - they're not in here as well, are they??!! (I mentioned God, as this is the Religion discussion - I like to make good first impressions ) You can change your display name to emerald_fox (with an underscore not a space).

You can change your name in your profile but I think everyone will know who you are as 'naughtyfox' anyway

Actually insects are probably at the top of the known tree if we are talking about survival of the fittest. The human brain just gets in the way particularly once it has been brainwashed. We could learn a lot from nature.

I fear for the future with so many religions in a small country such as this ,when some of them are not like the peaceful ones we are used to and will fight for what they believe in ,this isnt going to smell of roses more likely to smell of what they are being grown in

It's just annoying that some want to turn it into a problem to gain some political/financial advantage.

Although it's peaceful by definition, it's clearly not perfect. It is a big city in the centre of it all. There is hope though. edition.cnn.com/2015/10/18/middleeast/israeli-palestinian-joint-peace-rally/

Christianity in England is dying and I can give a first hand example of this. Who is that bloke that writes the blog " Narrowboat Inca " he is always going on about how he collects wood from the towpath instead of buying coal, " Boaters Gold " he calls it. This of course gives him more money to spend on wine at Waitrose to quaff with his fellow bloggers and if your bored or downright feeling suicidal you can read his weighty tome.A few months ago this charlatan turned up and totally demolished a bottle of my malt whiskey and then went back to his boat to sleep, its on his blog, months later he still hasn't returned with a bottle to repay my hospitality.Days and nights have passed and I still stare at my empty bottle,a Scotsman does these things, its totally destroyed me so I urge you not to be taken advantage of like I was and humbly tell you that I am clinging on to my new bottle of Glenmorangie so it doesn't suffer the same fate as the last one.You have been warned !

Collecting wood from the towpath is STEALING. Nice blog = narrowboat No Problem. Try 'narrowboat blog' into Google and some interesting stuff comes up. Try 'Maffi Aardvark' into Google for another interesting view of the canals.
