Iβm over in France preparing to hand over my barge to the new owner and last night BT sport wonβt work until the second half. Saints already well in the lead and the I saw Wayne! Canβt remember last time he let us win. What a great night for us Jimmies as as for Tigers more like pussy cats.

Newcastle, Worcester and Leicester all lost. Next Friday nights game at Newcastle against the Tigers is going to be a monumental confrontation. I wonder if Newcastle can do it again! Rog PS Rotherham won

Which one will go down? Personal preference is the Tigers, I think @gazza might agree

Worcester for me, more in hope than any real expectation. Quite amazing that Leicester are down there. If Newcastle can beat them Friday night, you could be proved right. Would be a larf Rog

Looks like Newcastle's luck has finally run out.
Nine points behind Leicester and looks like they're destined for the drop.
It's funny, last season they were winning games by narrow margins, and this season's been entirely the opposite.
Saints pushing hard for a play off place ... what a turn around in fortunes for them.
Been an exceptional very competitive season really, at the top and bottom of the league.
Still two games to go, but the writing's on the wall for the Falcons I fear.

Rog Two 5 point wins againts Gloucester and Bristol (unlikely) along with needing zero points for Leicester from Harlequins and Bath(eminently possible!) Squeaky bum time for both until the fat lady sings! Saints in the play off is a double edged sword, tremendous for moral, both for the team, management and supporters, but; with a heavily decimated squad through injury I don't think more than a semi final is all they could hope for. The academy lads have been great during the regular season, they won't be enough against Gloucester, Exciter or Saracens come final day though. I'm at my mates 60th so even if they did get to HQ I wouldn't be able to go and give them sound words of encouragement π€¬

Saints clinging onto the last play off spot ... didn't see that coming earlier in the season.
A shame Newcastle are finally down, but I hope they'll bounce back quickly. The league needs the northern teams.

That was a close halftime score, didn't think Sarries would pull that off,

Fantastic second half.
I know Sarries aren't popular, but they are one hell of a squad.
Sexton remains a world class player, but I do think we've seen the best of him now. I'm pleased we have younger options for the England squad.

Exeter v Saints (thanks to Saints one extra win compared to Quins).
Sarries v Gloucester.
I suppose the obvious final of Chiefs v Sarries is on the cards, with Sarries doing the double, but the fascinating thing about sport is you can never be certain.
Been a particularly interesting competition this year, with very open attacking play being the mode.
Hope that carries over into RWC.

Late to the party, but...
Can I get a Whoop whoop?!
Oh when the Saints, oh when the Saints go marching in....
Ok, a loss from the boys from Richmond helped but the table doesn't lie π
Big big ask a week later down at Sandy Park.
On paper it's a win for Exciter, thankfully we don't play on paper so one can only hope ππ»π

A worthy final coming up.
I fancy Exeter to take control of the ball and stifle Sarries, but that's a huge task against such a terrific team.
All down to the day no doubt, but definitely the two strongest teams going at it.
Been looking at the Barbarians squad for the weekend, and what an experienced, heavyweight team that is to face an inexperienced, fairly young England squad under Jim Mallinder. I think Joe Marler alone has more England caps than the England team combined.
Should be an entertaining encounter, and I've no doubt some of the England team will be regulars by RWC 2023, but I suspect Pat Lams boys will win the day ... again.
