As the October membership drive draws to a close, the ranks of Thunderboat continue to swell. While many members have put a lot of effort into recruitment this month, Daniel Hutchinson has sent us more members than all the others combined. Dan is to be congratulated, and thanked, for his untiring efforts on behalf of Thunderboat. Attaboy Dan! It is rumored that tomsk himself will make a personal appearance later to award Dan his very own Twat!

Have taken taken into account Foxy's contribution, for instance. Every time he and Wichy come over here they visit towns and place ads in shop windows. With all these ads in all these shops around the counryside it is small wonder that membership numbers have rocketed. Furthermore, as to your last sentence, Dan has only made one post on here and that post contains the sum total of one word - "curiosity". Do you seriously think Tomsk is going to make a personal appearance to comment on such a long word? To Foxy:- The missus went into Ellsmere to check wether your ad had been placed. She went into the little diy shop (thinking thats where you meant). "No" says he, "it wasn't here. However, in this town we don't charge for this service", and with that he took one of the ads and put it in his window. The missus found your little shop and, yes your ad was there. So, not only have you been diddled out of three quid in your attempts to up the membership but have also been cheated out of an award in the recruitment drive stakes. This, in my opinion, is a serious miscarriage of justice.

Foxy is a valued contributor here, but it is definitely Daniel Hutchinson who is Thunderboat's most successful recruitment officer. I think Nick Norman's ban was the last straw for many CWDF members, and is certainly the reason Lady Muck has chosen to fall on her sword.

While there is no denying the fact that Foxy is a forum treasure, the Fox had been involved in a bit of a scandal recently and the committee felt that now was not a good time to be giving him an award. In any event, as soon as his solicitor found out he had an extra three quid, you know whose pocket it would go into.
