Possibly a good candidate for lengthening. I've seen it before somewhere on the GU but it was painted red I think or maroon. I wonder if it has an inboard engine installation? Probably not if they only want £2k for it. I was chatting to the owner. It does have a single cylinder inboard diesel in it but it has no compression. He uses it as storage and tows it around. The stove was removed to create space. It is partially wood lined inside. I believe he said it was in Leighton Buzzard for a few years. TBH, I don't remember seeing it. I think he'll take offers.

Another interesting boat on the appalling duck Irish version. If it were not for the dodgy top I'd find this very appealing. I prefer a good steel cabin on balance. Nice spacious boat - looks a bit like a Humber barge but seems to be built in Ireland m.apolloduck.com/feature.phtml?id=469858The same yard built a very nice looking barge in 1917, with lines that look very "Dutch", but built in Ireland.
The photo was made by a frenchman (Guy Matignon)

Broadly Similar to mine too What's your barge? Mine's a 57x12 English barge built by Pickwell and Arnold mid 90s.

That's a lovely little boat to play with, unless you'll going to use it to work with, it will only be a nice toy.
I have too many boats, I have too many boats, I have too many boats.
Apart from having too many boats already, I can't afford it with my retirement pension that only just allows me to buy a bag of peanuts, if I buy an out of date bag in a cheap shop that is.
Right now, my fixed monthly expenses are more than my retirement pension, and the tiny little bit of savings I have won't last much longer.
Peter.
