I was readin that Lawes may not be as bad as first thought, and that Hartley may still be struggling with his back.

You are right of course. But what I meant was, a player at a successful club will gain financial reward from club and country as a consequence. When Saints turn it around this season and win everything, their players will be in greater demand, and fast Eddie will be hammering at the doors of Franklins Gardens. The money will come on the back of success, there's no need to chase it, especially at 23. I see Baarth have splashed the cash again to bring in two new players to cover for international commitments. Rog Once upon a time we had 7 -9 players in the England squad. Hope upon hope that the reduced demand on our squad now we are down to loosing 3 international players (not including the Pisi boys as they havent exactly been top draw) means success in the domestic and european campaigns - i'm not gonna hold my breath on that. Imagine how shit we would be without Picamoles, Patterson, Kessel and the odd good shift from Gorgeous George? |

Rog Dylan didnt look comfortable at all, he's played less than 50% of the last 50 odd games for saints. We miss his edge and leadership qualities. I hope i'm wrong but I have a suspicion he wont play as big a role for England this Autumn as he would like. |

I saw the highlights of your last game and Picamoles was rightly lauded as the best foreign signing of the season in the Aviva.

Picomoles has been one of the very few highlights so far. Last season I was hoping of seeing big things from Victor Matfield, we hardly seemed to play him. However, he did save us from finishing outside the top 6. Rumour has it he and Jim did not see eye to eye, describing our coaching and tactics as 10 years out of date  |
