Also when the mower (or gennies) will be laid up for a while try turning the fuel off and letting the engine run dry, it's fuel going stale in the carb that often causes problems. Modern petrol is a right witches brew and doesn't always store well, there might be a stabiliser that can keep it good. So having left the lawn mower wrapped up snug in carpets and an old exercise mat(knew there had to be a use some where for that!) with petrol in. I deduce from above its gonna be even more of a pig to start.... Note to self....invite son to come stay when forecast indicates time to start again....and hope he's back cos the son who helps is the son whose trekking over there. The other 2 are well..... Son in law doesn't have any interest in gardens..hes wood chipped and artificial grassed his with small amount natural in his front garden
