They are trying to stop it and it could easily be a home goal with all the negative publicity I will send mine back with a message about morally wrong actions by this government!! Where did you see that they are trying to stop it Peter? I am reading here that Cameron is justifying it by saying that the Government are not neutral. On radio 2 the electoral commission are investigating it as they feel that it is beyond the boundaries and also it is more than the 7 million in total allowed

Hello Mr Holden! I actually appreciated your comments on Canalworld, and I think it would be nice if you could pop over here sometimes to join in. Sometimes you have agreed with what I've said, and sometimes we've been at loggerheads, so I think you and I have a fairly level table. Welcome to Thunderboat. You can say here as you please without having to worry about being 'moderated'. You only need to worry about offending other members here, and/or making yourself look like a prat. But here is the freedom to say your pieces, and you will be in very good company as we all seem to be boaters / have an interest in the inland waterways. Come on in - the water's shallow - but it can be as deep as you like if you care to step or swim towards the Deep End. So far, everybody here seems pleasant and courteous. Thanks for the welcome Foxy, though I have been here since the first or second day I look in many times a day.

Cameron is spending 9 million on pro EU leaflets and mine wil be sent straight back to number 10. Wouldn't it be great if a few million of these landed back at 10 Downing St Westminster London SW1A 22AA Doing the rounds on FB at the mo, got to be worth a stamp! I wouldnt even bother with a stamp just as a minor protest aganst giving the Royal mail away to their mates at a bargain price

All my life, I have wanted brexit. I made a living from fishing in Cornwall when younger. What happened to that industry left a bitter taste for many. Now suddenly it's crunch time, and being totally honest, I've become a "floating voter". I can't make my mind up. Apathy. I am seeing a lot of it lately.

No, the Government are not neutral. It is official Government policy that we remain in the EU. Given that, I see no difference between this and a union recommending to its members to accept or reject a wage offer, and spending union funds in doing so. Main difference is that a Union spends its own funds, whereas the Government is spending taxpayers money. Hardly right or fare. No, the union is spending its members' subs - it has no money of its own, just as the Government has no money of its own, just the taxpayers'.

Well believe it or not Trade Unions have investments similar to pension funds,of course any union is the sum of its members however you must see the difference I am illustrating?
