D9 Is there a way of making Birthdays more obvious ? On CWF the days birthdays are fairly well displayed and quite obvious when entering by Forums (though not in new posts) On TB you have to really search them out. Is there a way of making them easier to spot without involving you in too much time and effort ? (By "you" I mean yourself in the work altering) Thanks JohnV (Whose birthday was forgotten by all you rotten lot )

Sorry John, I normally check as often as I think of it but obviously missed yours. I hope you had a great birthday, and I'll buy you a drink if TB ever has a banter. I know you do ...... but I also know you have not been too good at the moment ........ hope you are starting to feel more comfortable. Cheers John (Actually a TB banter would be nice idea ........ there are a lot of people I have chatted with on here, that I would like to meet)

Sorry John, there doesn't seem to be a simple way of doing this. I will look into it further when I get chance.

Hope that you'll accept my sincere happy birthday wishes a day after the big day, and I wish you a very happy and even more a very healthy new year of life.
Peter.

Thank you very much for your kind wishes Peter. I'm sorry to hear that you have stopped acknowledging your birthday ....... I enjoy the sense of satisfaction at having dodged the grim reaper for yet another year

The birthday I have given is not true as it is used by my bank as one of their id checks. Though I obviously share it on a personal basis I am wary of sharing on a global forum as it is surprising how much personal stuff some people make available via family tree sites, electoral roll searches, social media etc. I suspect others do the same.

I still like birthdays and i have a very significant one next year which Ive already ensured my kids are aware of..thing is one son will be walking across Papua New Guinea(as part of Expedition 5)..I personally think thats tad extreme lengths to go to, to avoid getting me a card....the others however have been warned..no desert marathons next year or running off to claim sanctuary in Scottish monasteries.... My family do appear to go to extreme lengths...but I'm sure its not little me..

Could always do it a few days early/late, at least you get birthday wishes at some point!

I shall be like the queen and have a private birthday and another public birthday, may even get double presents as well.
