I am very saddened to hear this she was an enormous talent, I was very fortunate to be on the sound and lighting crew on several occasions when she was in cabaret. The follow spot operators job with an act like that in theory should have been easy as she didn't move round very much on stage and when at the piano you just had to allow a bit for her bouncing up and down on her seat during the "Lets do it" routine....but it wasn't, it was extraordinarily hard to stop the light from bouncing about because you were helpless with laughter. I remember those days with great fondness now tinged with sadness at her early passing. RIP Victoria

She lived locally to me at one time and it was surreal to see her in the supermarkets dressed down in ordinary stuff, furtling through the reduced items like the rest of us, because she was of course ordinary but with an extraordinary talent for seeing the funny in real life. Bloody cancer, it takes the best, I wish it was possible to throw money at finding a cure. This country would sadly rather throw money elsewhere. 11,000 men dead each year from Prostrate Cancer in Britain

Now that REALLY is tragic. Saw her perform at Oxford. Superb scriptwriter, comedienne, moving actress and all round lovely person. What a crying shame that someone so young with so much talent should die so early. There is no justice in this world. A real loss, as opposed to some of the so-called talents who have died. Roger
