The first quarter was reminiscent of the car crash start we had with Argentina last year. I think Fast Eddies decision to move some players out of position, was wrong.
The forwards didn’t gel.
The ¾’s were more or less none existent.
Jonny May shouldn’t have been yellowed for an alleged whip tackle. His head and shoulders were down and Gael was already turning out of the tackle. But because Fickou landed on his head, it was a pretty much a done deal.
The only half decent part of the game, is when Te’o and Haskell arrived from the bench.
A lot of work needed by Jones this week, in preparation for our excursion to face The Sheep Interfering Boyo’s next Saturday.
