Hopefully, this bonus point system will be dismissed as a waste of time for next year's 6N. It makes no sense having a bonus point system when you only play each team only once per year. If you had two games (Home & Away) against a team per year, then it might be viable.

Well Doris has cleared off, and a storm of rugby is forecast for the weekend. I fancied Scotland at home against the Welsh, but Laidlaw is a massive absence for them. They are showing enough attacking flair to win, but I'd have been more confident with Laidlaw moving them around the pitch. It could go either way. Ireland are more than good enough to beat the French especially at home. It should be a good hard game, but I can't see anything but an Irish win. Sunday, I expect a comfortable win, after a tight first half. Italy will come to keep the score down in my view (after the thrashing by Ireland where they tried to play) so England will have to be creative. I think they're good enough to get the bonus point. What's your views? Got to find a tv signal now Rog

I'll be in the capital to watch the England game. Good build up to the real event at Wembley.

Decisions Decisions !!! I'm off to trAshton Gate to watch Bristol v The Mighty Baarrrfff at 13:00hrs on Sunday, then find a local inn too watch the England v Italy game straight after. Question is: Do I wear my England shirt under my Baarrfff one (to swap around between games) or do I carry it separately? Super Sunday of rugby for me this week.

If you want a fun Sunday, put a Gloucester shirt on Sounds a good jolly, and have you seen the team (I don't know how to do links). A few surprises, Farrell and T'eo at centre, Daly on the wing (no Watson) Danny Care and Haskell starting, and Itoje at blind side. Great weekend. Rog

Scotland were terrific, and always looked threatening. Really enjoyed the game.
The irish were worthy winners but it was an arm wrestle. France are going in the right direction with Noves finally.
