No don't subscribe to that thought...some bloggers have lots to say and no-one to talk to and some could be attention seekers...There are lots of reasons people blog

Yes, noted. I generally avoid attention seekers, please excuse my slip π Attention seekers are those who have their own blogs? It's a bit of a struggle suggesting it's a blog. I built it more with the intention of an informative site. After all, the majority of it is "cut and paste" information from CRT.

I believe that Mr Naughty is deliberately spamming the forum in order to keep it "tikking over"
At least he said that.
Anyway I have rearranged the words

Did I? Anyway, having been pointed in the direction of Canalworld, what's this I see, that Thunderboat is allowed to be mentioned over there now? "A lot of people defected to Thunderboat when the forum went through a period of ridiculousness. Some permanently, some temporarily and some now post on both forums. Perhaps he's joined over there with a different user name like quite a few did." This on the DeanS thread. Which one of us is he? Hello Dean! -and mjg even posted a screen-shot of Thunderboat forum threads on CWDF! What is the world coming to? I'm several centuries behind everything, it seems (edited here to save another post, heh!)

I posted that because somebody mentioned they found the format of the site here hard to read and I was showing them actually you can sort that. I did also think it would be an interesting 'test' of how much the moderation has softened on there particularly in terms of mentioning /referring to here. It's still up AFAIK so I guess there is the answer.

Being a bit of a refreshing bright spark in a dull grey place she got such a huge amount of wide ranging advice, with everything from people offering to come and fix things to warnings of watch your back let alone all the detailed technical advice, she was probably spinning like a whirling dervish! I imagine the suggestion of coming onto thunderboat (another forum) would be met with "not in a million years".I suspect you are right. Why would she want to visit this forum if it is full of the same type of people as the other forum? Her views were made quite clear "F bunch of nut jobs" and to "go F yourselves"

I have never heard of anybody painting the whole boat in bitumin, Is it a done thing? Had to laugh at the pitures of the mushroom vents all covered in a gallon and a half of silicon and goop, looks like a job that might have been done in anger.

I have never heard of anybody painting the whole boat in bitumin, Is it a done thing? Only in Skipton. And only if your name is Max. For the avoidance of doubt, the above is said in jest and no offence is intended to Max or anyone else.

Hang on, is this the woman that bought the boat just because it was blue? Or am I thinking of someone else?
