Newcastle drew 2.2 with Liverpool this afternoon, great to see the Liverpool supporters cheer Rafa Benitez.Time is fast running out for Newcastle to stay in the premiership, I wonder if they would have been in this position if Mclaren would have been sacked earlier. Anyway its getting very tight at the bottom of the table, can Newcastle complete the Great Escape?

I'm guessing this is something to do with football?

There was only one Great Escape, the original and anything that has happened since is just a pale imitation.

That was some achievement for brom, I remember that day very well, Being a saints fan.
What a ninety minutes, such an emotional rollercoaster.
To be fair I enjoyed our journey down to League 1, The journey back up, to be smashing teams week in week out was great for us fans. With a win at Wembley in the JPT too. Our club needed to go through that change and be hours from ending, Now we have an amazing owner who runs the club the Southampton way, which also means running it as a business and make profit.
It does not seem long ago we were travelling to places like Rochdale on a Wednesday night. now we enjoying stuffing teams like arsenal and Man u.
