Having a tiny caravan, Freedom Prima Jetstream, I get stuck behind big caravans and 4x4s, Rover drivers in flat caps, motorway middle lane hoggers. It doesn't slow me down much at all. You may have seen a Jetstream slung below a balloon on Top Gear a few years back. I have no problem accelerating up to and keeping up with the speed limit normally despite the size of our outfit. It was just that section where it narrowed right down, meeting a 'van coming the other way or indeed a motorhome was a challenge for sure. Some people of course dont realise we are subject to a lower speed limit than solo vehicles so if they want us to go faster than 50mph (on a single carriageway) I would suggest they lobby the government for higher limits for vehicles towing trailers. On a dual carriageway it shouldn't bother anybody that we are restricted to 60mph because there is plenty of room to get past. A good stop that we always use is just where you turn right at the top of lomand I think where the windy bit starts. There's a big car park by the water with a big grassy area

Fair comment. However the most recent discussion on CWDF regarding here, centred on the post by Foxy regarding the atrocity in Sweden. I would be happy to see the section removed. What does Delta9 think? Rog But I notice he stays there and slash everyone off over here. Not got the balls to come here and say it. So the rules there mean you can't attack fellow posters but you can attack anyone else.

I think this is only fair, with the entirely reasonable proviso that a mandatory, pre-booked police escort at the towers expense is available on full blues and twos before any movement is even considered.

He's probably a regular reader, like a lot of the others that say they don't like it here, but would never admit to it.

The only reference to myself is someone saying I had gone to Finland. Am I missing something?
The night-time referral is because badgers are nocturnal creatures and it will give 'em the chance to admire your caravan as you swoosh down from the Highlands and Glens, home to the Mighty Stag and Rob Roy McGregor. Mind you don't squash any!

I'm firmly of the belief that if you reallyΒ MUST have a caravan it shouldΒ be purely functional and as small as possible OR huge andΒ vulgar/semi-static. That's all I have. Well, if that's what you think of I'm getting a bigger one, with a compost loo. That will stop the bastards tailgating me. Clear roads all round. Oops, nearly forgot.... Twat.

Dogless
You have posted on canalworld thread that some people are unable to even read that forum. Is that right? I didn't think that banned at IP address level was possible. Maybe it is. I remember it was discussed before on here and it seemed that some peoples computers were set for automatic login which would be refused if they were banned by username. I believe if the user cleared the automatic login or cleared cache or cookies then they would be able to read as a guest.

However not everyone understands cache and cookies. Some people might not want to risk fiddling with settings. If anyone would like to give me their password and login details I'll help them remove the CWF virus... Only kidding.

I just get irritated sometimes when I read comments over there, and want to protest.
I realise anyone can read over there as a guest, it was more the principle of the thing.
A member being banned, without appeal, or right of reply, with all the other members happy to go along as if all is well, yet happy to sanctimoniously comment about the odd swear word on here.
I shouldn't bother reading the stuff really, but there are some good folks over there.
I am firmly of the opinion now that the CWDF section should be merged. It would remove one 'stick' with which some seek to beat us.
What do you think Delta9? Can it be done, and do you agree that it should go?

Good point about fiddling. It could all end in tears! Maybe downloading an alternative browser would be an option but that could end in tears as well I suppose !!

Beyond my pay grade. It's all I can manage to post (and some would say I shouldn't bother he he).
I don't believe Delta9 set this place up as a democracy, it's his empire and his choice in my view.
