That's a great boat ... love the planking of the deck. My guess is, it's not Andyberg scumbling as good as that is Thanks for the photo. Rog

One of my Favourite boats M/b 'Angelo' pictured about to cross Barton Tank over the M/c Ship Canal mid 1950's, steering is my Uncle John Gibbons and sat on the engine house is his younger brother George. They are on their way towing a dumb boat to collect coal at either Marsland Green or Boothstown Tips to supply Stretford Gas Works. That’s a great photo Roy thanks for sharing along with the picture of A38 they have brightened my day.

Ainscough's M/b ' Burscough 2' formerly 'Black Prince' descending Stanley Locks, Liverpool. Tied up on the right M/b 'Farnworth' looking worse for wear. Photo circa mid 1950's

Not seen any post's recently from Bargemast/Peter. Have I missed some relevant information. I’ve been in contact with him by email. He’s had lots of hassle with the navigation authority over his mooring I believe he’s got it sorted or last time I spoke to him he had nearly got it sorted. But he wasn’t going to post much on here, which is a shame. I can message you his email if you want, I’m sure he’d love to hear from you Roy.
