I'll taste the choices and let you know how they rate compared to my favourite brand...then you'll know without having to worry about calorie consumption and weight gain possibilities...sometimes I am so thoughtful...

I'm quite seriously underweight but I hate chocolate.

Small packet sent to Patty this morning. I'm just curious to know her opinion of Finland's Fazer chocolate. To me, the taste hasn't changed in many years, and it's still Made in Finland (Vantaa, just outside Helsinki). I am thinking of writing to Fazer to ask if those American scumbags at Kraft have made an offer for it. I estimate the packet should be with Patty by next Thursday.

I'm quite seriously underweight but I hate chocolate. I'm a fat bastard but I hate chocolate too. And funnily enough, the more posh and expensive it is, the more vile I think it is.

I've noticed, as I have gotten older, that I've lost my appetite for chocolate and sweets. I much prefer wok-fried noodles and vegetables in teriyaki sauce.

I can honestly say I have not lost my taste for chocolate ..but now I am more selective..I'm building up a store of very nice branded chocolates that does not include stuff like Cadbury's..I've become a connoisseur as Ive aged...like a fine wine..mellow... The one 'cheap' I eat is Tunnocks caramel wafers ..love them..

The only chocolate I can tolerate, and even then I'm talking about once or twice a year is Aldi's "Dairyfine" which is a knock-off of 1970's Cadbury Dairy Milk, when Cadbury were still making it with milk rather than palm oil.

Lard, sugar and a bitter flavouring. What could possibly go wrong!
I've given it up in favour of fresh cream cakes.

Your chocolate knowledge is better than your engine and supply chain knowledge 👍 We get the Dairyfine giant buttons as bribery tokens for the dwarf, cheaper and head and shoulders better than Cadbury's Buttons. Their cheap 30p Everyday Essentiald 100g bars are excellent for cooking with too. I've resolved myself to standing in a queue more often than handing my hard earned over to Asda for overpriced food with the luxury of home delivery or click and connect. The savings and vast improvement in quality and taste on some of Aldi's produce make it hard to justify being a lazy fecker and ordering it all online from Asda

Anyway, back on topic. I'm at Castleford tonight, and hoping to get to Leeds tomorrow. There I will wait, I have been told that the climb out of Leeds is as bad as the climb out of Manchester, the people on the replica Dutch barge moored a few boats from me had two windows broken when they were there, one by being smashed by a yobbo with a golf club, so I need to time my departure and preferably travel in convoy...
