I've briefly met mr SG and Gazza. Aquarat kindly helped me moor last year so had a chance for a chat. Waved at Trina in passing, ditto canaldweller. Oh and GG of course. Now I'm worrying that I've forgotten someone! There are quite a few others but they reside exclusively in the other place!
edit : Jenlyn of course, when he wasn't hiding from me.

I wouldn't know if I passed anyone. I remember some boat names.
Next week on the Cheshire ring I believe I need to look for a boat that's a rocking, as another notch gets made in the bedpostπ

Ooohhh! Kiss and Tell!! peterboat and Jane (he did not come in SAS-style kicking our windows in though!) Douglas from Burnley/Colne - I forget his name on Canalworld - he was nice, drove over from that side of the Pennines to our boat in Sowerby Bridge, strangely enough Mac of Cygnet knocked on the roof at the same time! chagall - interesting character! Johnv - bribed us to visit with offer of whisky ricco - made us a chicken curry canaldweller - but after meeting us they fled far down South! David Schweizer from Canalworld - showed me how to tighten up our stern gland All nice people. But scarred for life now, I'm afraid This Summer I have a feeling we'll have a rental car for a week, and whilst using it for other nefarious purposes, we may hunt down a few Thunderboaters. kris, we KNOW about the Springs Branch, so no use hiding up there!!

As I said on another thread, I think Loafer and Gazza were avoiding me last summer I've met Phil (and he of course has met me ) He must be brave (either that or he didn't know that everyone else was avoiding me ........ or was it him that warned everyone to stay away ? ) Foxy and Witchy of course ........but Ross is brave ......... or ....... well ........ Ross )

I've met Saltysplash - quite a while ago. don't think I've met anyone else unless they are CW members with different user names. I did go to a couple of CW banters a few years ago and met some people.

I've met Patty Ann, she lives near me. ah yes we've met ....coffee n chat time... from t'other place I tracked down Alfie as I had a yen to see the boat...introduced ..err don't remember his name who owned Alfie..to Molly dog about a week before she RIP. Waved to Ray T., and the lady with the pink hair who owns a springer and nearly hit thingyneboby(Tawny owl) when I wasn't paying attention one day and I met Chesire Rose..well cannot remember her name either when I donated an item for her auctions and brought an small anchor off her..and i said hello to who ever the guy was who brought the fuel boat and fixed it up near W E L T O N Marina...spellchuck don't like some words My big problem is I forget names as i'm normally looking at boats. Oh yes i nearly hit some one else from the t'other side when my boat decided it'd like to stay in a bridge hole in very windy weather..I woz attempting to get to a winding hole.

I wouldn't know if I passed anyone. I remember some boat names. Next week on the Cheshire ring I believe I need to look for a boat that's a rocking, as another notch gets made in the bedpostπ The boat hasn't been a'rockin in the 3 weeks I've been home, not even once. I must be getting old. I met Foxy & co. at Middlewich last year. Very nice breakfast he made! I passed Telemachus on the Middlewich Branch but I didn't realise it was him, at the time. I suppose the fact that his boat is called 'Telemachus' should have been a clue, but there you go.
