Especially after the last Con/Lib/Dem coalition. I think it went better than a Conservative government would have gone. The Lib Dems kept them in check a little bit. Their influence may have been small but it was noticeable. It was pointless. They just gave the Tories a pretty face and should have refused. They bent over forwards and took it from behind in persuit of 5 minutes of fame. Deluded. IMO.

Corbyn was displaying his usual detachment from reality on the evening news....
'Bring it on, I welcome the opportunity'....
Deluded fool.

Now I don't have a great understanding of politics or their shenanigans but I find myself wondering mostly as to wot will happen in Scotland.... Its also possible that I may cast my vote this time round as I personally feel the only one who can sort out this mess is May....however as I really haven't followed much I probably don't know what I'm talking about.

Pinched from elsewhere...
Jezza man, wake the fuck up. You've got six weeks to sort your fucking shit out. I know, I know, kinder fairer politics blah blah blah. That shit won't wash pal. You can't fight the fucking Nazis by throwing rose petals and expressing your disdain through the medium of interpretive dance. The world is on the brink of nuclear war so shut the fuck up about abolishing Trident for now. The UK loves an underdog but not a fucking liability son. Get yourself a fucking spin doctor and a suit, play the establishment game and for fuck sake memorise your fucking notes because at the moment you sound like a confused missing grandfather at a bus station. You won't win, you can't fucking win and even if you were competent, that cunt Murdoch will devour you like John Prescott with cake at a christening. Still, taking all that into consideration, a fucking brick would be better than these shower of cunts. So, get to it, I want to see a Rocky style montage of you holding babies, people laughing at your anecdotes, you stood in a new hospital with your sleeves rolled up and your tie tucked into your shirt and on building sites with a high visibility jacket and a hard hat. Yes, the only way you can win over the great British brainless bastards is to become a fucking mock Tory.

As much as Sturgeon was saying tonight she has no intention on making this election a vote on whether Scotland wants another referendum it will effectively be just that, if SNP do badly it will suppress the clamour for a second Scottish referendum. (Indyref2) I suspect however the SNP will do very well again and thus it will add toSturgeon's indignation at so far being thwarted by May's refusal to grant permission for another referendum (Sturgeon needs that permission). I would hope May wins and holds out and thwarts Sturgeon long enough for the Scottish people to get to decide on their independence/future post Brexit. We all should have the same opportunity really but we aren't going to get that, it would be good to see at least part of the U.K. Get to vote on the terms of the deal.

What a shit election this will be. Mrs Mayhem the clear favourite, who would have predicted that a year ago? Labour aren't in any position to contend. I like the Lib Dems, but they don't really stand a chance. There isn't really any possible good outcome to this election. I think the best we can hope for is some sort of coalition involving the Lib Dems. I dont think a coalition will be any good for the country in fact it could spell disaster

It seems there is a rumour that 30 mp's are about to be charged by cps over allegations from the last election. I wonder if that influenced Mays thinking.

I would say stick to hating the Tories, vote for anyone likely to beat them and see what happens. Seeing the Tories as the best option is sad. I generally vote for the constituency "person" I like.... No, no, no...that would never catch on. What? Vote for someone you believe in rather than tow the 'party' line along with all of it's lies and bullshit. Lol.

My first general election without a party to vote for Easy decision - give your vote to whoever is likely to get the best Brexit deal. That's what's known as the lowest common denominator. Voting for the least shit party doesn't sit well but seems all that is left. it's that or wipe my arse with my postal vote and send that in 👍 That British politics descend to this level in the space of 20 years is a travesty of the highest order.

Nope, you're a young man. I'd say 40 years, my father would say 70 years, his father...

Well put Martin, David my Scottish friend is hoping for a backlash against the poison dwarf with some tory gains and he hopes labour gains in fact anything but more SNP he lives there and dreads independence unless he has managed to sell and move to England then he couldnt care less! Made me smile as he lives in a lovely house with one of the best views I have ever seen

I would have happily voted for Mo Mowlam but I couldn't because she was the candidate for the neighbouring constituency. Despite being a regular Tory voter at the time. Brilliat constituency MP, the current one is too, also Labour.
