Think, John Smith ..... and weep for what might have been John Smith always seemed a man of principles...& I'm not a labour voter. John Smith was the best prime minister we never had. Labour under Smith kindled my interest in politics and ultimately led me to holding socialist views. He died, Blair got the nod, and the rest (along with socialism) is history!

Looking at this poll Mrs May is going to romp it home and the other parties are consigned to the dustbin of life!" Its early days they haven't all dragged out the muck n sleaze yet.....give it a few weeks for the 'squeaky clean's' to become tarnished..sometimes I think unexpected results occur when the 'dirt' sticks

It's hard to tell from this forum ...... there might be a wide range of political view on here but the one thing that everyone here has in common is independent attitudes. There are no sheep on here ....... but there are a hell of a lot of wooly backs out there

(Especially as I don't consider Thunderboat, with one or two exceptions, to be a particularly right wing group.) Hello privatised NHS and industrial serf economy.

I've moved mine from Lib Dem to abstain. I like the Lib Dems but I can't vote for Tim Farron, bring back Cleggy! There is nobody to vote for.
I honestly can't see how anyone can find any of the candidates in this election worthy of support, and I really can't see how Mrs Mayhem is getting so much support. She is truly awful.

Cleggy had an appeal that Farron lacks but Mrs May will do for me. But I wouldnt worry to much as under the UK system in five years you can get rid of her under the EU system the unelected leaders are there to stay..........................

I cannot see anyone else on the horizon who has got the balls needed to negotiate with Europe. A good handbagging will probably be needed and as far as I can see She is the only one around that may be capable of doing it.
That will be why she is getting support

I dread to think what this country will be like after 5 years of Mayhem. Does she get your support because you actually like her and think she is good for the job, or is she just the best of a bad bunch?

Which job? Do I think she is the best for negotiating with Europe ..... Yes everything else ? Don't know, but I definitely prefer her to Corby
I don't think you need to worry about too much changing in domestic policies over the next 5 years virtually all the time available in parliament is going to be needed unpicking EU laws and regulations that is more than enough work for one parliament.

Look at what she has already done in her short time in power.
