Shapfell (the yoghurt pot) is on a trailer in the car park. Spent an hour sorting out a load of new hoses and then started scrubbing her down. Got about a third of it done then had to roll everything back up again and go off in the car to pick up some second hand gear I have bought for Sabina H. Feeling very pleased with myself got a car full of second hand (but hardly used and up to date) navigation equipment. 2 Proper commercial marine displays, a radar with a spare scanner and a brand new Lorenz Magnum chart plotter. The only thing is I am now totally Kerry Packered, so I am sitting with a pint of Hobgoblin and my feet up for an hour. I will have to be up about 2 am as there is a very big tide tonight which will probably be over the jetties so mooring lines will need an eye kept on them.
All in all though, contented.

The Jaguar passed its MOT with no advisories but £516.00 road tax ? Ouch More power to your right foot! If you were paying £20 tax you eild be driving about in some hateful diesel piece of crap. Just think, the penalty we pay for proper cars subsidies the smug gits in their super frugal cars. If it wasn't for us they'd have to pay proper money I'm band I and band D so not as much arse raping as you but even so, the rates are skewed the wrong way - and that's without taking dieselgate into consideration!

You best enjoy it while you can because with all this driverless technology soon we are going to look back and wonder how we were allowed to drive cars at all.

Life's good because I just completed an ambition of 10 years' retirement, living on sea boats and canal boats. Boats is me thing. Money not so important.

Have you seen the film Logan's Run? I don't think so,is Loafer in it ? ha ha ha It would have been curtains for him at the ripe old age of 30. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Logan%27s_Run_(film)It's not a bad film, shows it's age now but worth a watch.

Well I am happy too, came back from a weeks trouble free cruising yesterday, and delivered to a new owner my Alfa spider ran him for three years and sold him for a £1500 profit!! Wish I had a dozen off em. I will miss him though but I do have another in the garage along with a multitude of others must keep on selling instead of buying!!!

I used to be in love with Jenny Agutter. Logan's Run was superb, because you almost got to see all of her thighs for nearly all of the time.
