Powerful yet strangely haunting.

Or without the theatrical make up ... excellent piece which makes me think of ... That's beautiful. Not seen that one before. Thanks. Regardless of the makeup and show I still think Klaus Nomi has the better voice technically. A bit grating I suppose and not as soft but more impressive, to me at least.

A very interesting selection, Good listening for a morning when I am going to take it easy !!! Nice way to start the day ..... I'm not keen on Klaus Nomi, I find it hard to listen to. Orlinski is impressive and that performance from the Magic Flute was splendid. (and I enjoyed the selection from les enfants terrible as well )
So here we go ......... Something unusual from a different tradition ..... and a sound that I always enjoy hearing

It's a shame Purcell didn't have a Banging Donk on his keyboard.

an offering from three wonderful female singers, each a star in their own right That was lovely x eta - sadly the lyrics a bit too close to the bone for many of us. Probably why it worked so very well with them x

Seems an apt day to post this - one of my all time favourites.

This is a bit of a classic of the modern age.
Can't get enough of it. Was shown it by the 9 and 11 year old girls and I was like "is this age appropriate or is it for 3 year olds?"
9,800,000,000 YouTube views.
Hmm.

All the way to the end I was convinced it was a PR campaign from Japan's fishing industry.

Yours is a slightly different genre but the girls did enjoy this one
They know the original "for kids" version.
I did have to explain what a 'douchebag' was.
Good version
Contains some lightly rude words but nothing like some of the other ones.
This one is definitely ok for kids with sweary parents.

Remember the old Herman's Hermits record "Something tells me I'm into something good' ... I was playing and singing it yesterday and suddenly wondered who wrote it ?
I knew it was one of Mickey Most's (remember him) productions but was amazed to discover it was written by (drum roll) Carole King !
