Kim jong wrigglefingers says; If you re-open another thread discussing this, you will be suspended and with it, your ability to use the messaging system.

Thank you for posting that Nick. I must say it's about what I would have expected from DHutch. As I said (when "fomenting dissent" on CWDF) it is puerile for someone to try to present a public forum as part of their CV. CWDF will never fulfill it's potential as a boaters forum under his control. The man's a wazzock of the highest degree. Crutchinson does not have an issue with selective memory, he's just a lying twunt.

It isn't an easy task to run a large consistently moderated forum. I wouldn't have the time or the inclination to attempt it, I have done in the past and it either takes up all of your time or goes to shit like CWDF. The type of person that volunteers to moderate usually is the type that makes a terrible mod. Everyone has their own agenda and things are never consistent.

The type of person that volunteers to moderate usually is the type that makes a terrible mod. Everyone has their own agenda and things are never consistent. I'd like to agree with this. I've worked in the voluntary sector and it's bloody hard. And as someone said, either on here or there, that the people who want to do the job, are exactly the people that shouldn't. I've got no beef with Daniel to be fair. I think he did see my side and I think he did have a word with Athyritis and told him to shut the f**k up. The silly thing is, before the exchange, I'd written to him offering some help with promotion, as it's what I did with the voluntary sector for a while. He did write back, but I've only just seen the message. It was in my junk folder.....can't think how that happened........ If newbies get set upon then he can advertise for help till he's blue in the bollox, he aint gonna get any. Can we drop it now and pick on someone else?
