I doubt the canal water tastes that bad. Well they do add sugar and CO2 to it. Maybe it's the CO2 which makes it bad. We need an expert on the subject...MtB? Are you here? I don't think nutter has posted recently

i have been thru loads of times even with my roof boxs on but like bassplayer said the water is variable and that gauge looks lower than the chains, anyhow i have a friend going through on monday so she will confirm for me. Always amazes me how orange the water is when you come out going North. Is that where Iron Brew comes from? We live a few miles outside of Corby, the plastic jocks love a drop of Scotland's national drink. Huge section of the fizzy drinks aisle in Corby Asda is given over to it. I have to keep some in for one of our friends who is Corby born and bred, it's bastard ghastly stuff. No fear of it getting drunk between her infrequent visits!
