Whilst in NI we never had any problems with the UVF etc so as you can understand it bothers me not that Mrs May has an informal agreement with DUP now, after all they are an official political party and consider themselves part of the UK, unlike the IRA/sinn fein who want the NI population to give in and become part of Ireland. Now under the Good Friday agreement this can happen as long as everyone votes for it............which has a snowballs chance in hell of happening You fuckin hypocritical prick. ππ Theresa May's new partners in government have strong historical links with Loyalist paramilitary groups. Specifically, the terrorist group Ulster Resistance, founded by a collection of people who went on to be prominent DUP politicians. Peter Robinson, for example, who was DUP leader and Northern Irelandβs first minister until last year, was an active member of Ulster Resistance. The groupβs activities included collaborating with other terrorist groups including the Ulster Volunteer Force, to smuggle arms into the UK, such as RPG rocket launchers. Having served there for over 3 years I know which terrorists killed us and which ones didnt! The IRA wanted a united ireland even though they were the minority, its strange that they could have any time moved to the south but never did, and how they were happy to claim benefits from the UK govenment. The Unionists however just wanted to remain part of the UK I know which ones I trusted, but then again I lived it have you?

Oh, and serving in ireland does not make you an expert in the field, so stop pretending it does (its also none of your business if i served there or not). You were just another squaddie who was told when to eat, piss, shit and clean the dust from the light switches. Your so full of bloody bullshit.

Which TBH is understandable. It's just that emotion needs to be used alongside good logic otherwise it just becomes a rant. We all had a choice whether to join the forces. Sadly those serving in the forces have to follow orders even if they are morally suspect. That's the price they have to pay sadly. On the other hand, all the civvies who die each day in these mindless power/greed games, don't get a choice as they don't have a true democracy.

Both advisors have now resigned but I'm not sure that will be enough to save May.

I doubt she had these types of events in mind when she stated she wanted to create Strong and stable government. I've lost all confidence in her personally. It's OK blaming advisors up to a point but at the end of the day she must take some responsibility for actually following the advice. The clue is in the name `advisor`. I don't want Boris stepping up either, I would have to have a long think about who could replace her.

Perhaps you missed the occasions that the Unionists killed civilians, police and army. I did not. Both side were just as bad as each other in NI.

Polarised opinions are a fact of life.

The Tory hounds have smelt blood, Mrs May is going to have to be a very clever fox to put them off the scent.
