I blame May and her close advisors, what were they thinking... I'm not so bothered about a hung parliament but am very concerned that we still have a major numpty in charge! I agree with your first point but strongly disagree with your second. A hung parliament is always disastrous for this country (1923, 1973, 1977 for examples), particularly as we're just commencing Brexit negotiations.

It's the hung parliament that is the most dangerous ....... Article 50 has been invoked and the fixed clock is ticking ...... and we have just chopped the floor out from under the negotiating team. Anything else that a government does in the term of a parliament is small beer compared to these negotiations. Anything domestic that a parliament does can be corrected in 5 years time. The negotiations with the EU are going set the course for the UK for a generation if not longer. last time it took 40 years

Interestingly our constituency has swung back to the Conservatives all be it quite close.
They upped their vote by 12% bucking the national trend by some margin.

a brave leader would call for a government of national unity and slam it to the EU.
unfortunately neither May nor Corbyn have sufficiently wide perspective to get the point.

It's a bizarre result.
The Tories got the most votes but didn't win. Corbyn lost and is celebrating. Europe is rubbing its hands with glee.

Politicians seem to always think short term (usually the length of a parliament) A statesman is needed to think in terms of generations. I haven't seen one of those around for many years.

Brexit negotiations with a hung parliament ..... oh shit ....... worst possible result for the country. How the hell can you negotiate with the EU when every stage will be wrangled over and slowed down. This could be a bloody disaster Not good John but the DUP are for Brexit, which will be asked for help she will get her 329 so still a majority SF arnt taking their 7 seats so her majority is bigger. mcdonald is banging on about forming a minority government which he doesnt even get a choice about!! and of course the wee poison dwarf has had her legs removed along with the other fish. So whilst it not good in 5 years time Brexit will be over and with luck we will have the deal that we need On a plus side I vote in Northeast Derbyshire and we have overturned the labour MP and installed a Tory result!!!

To anyone but the selfish a hung parliament is the best result our shit system can throw up. Fuck me, everyone gets some kind of say and who's complaining? - People who are convinced that, despite the evidence that millions think otherwise, only their view is "correct" and everyone else is a thicko "danger to our country" or somesuch soundbite twaddle said only to gain votes.
It's the system which produces winners and loosers that's fucked our country and got us into debt, not one party or the other. Too much power in too few hands.

So jezza days he is ready to lead the country and no deals will be done. Well that bit is obvious as the torys won't deal with Labour.
However why does he think that the torys can't form parliament because they did not gain a majority but he can with 50 less seats.
This last the post thing is stupid. The country has voted and the Tories have won the most seats.
what was the voting like individually. Was it still 44% to 40% at the end.
