K No change in Cromer yet, people are still fishing for crabs from the pier. I used to go to Cromer as a little boy but when we went crabbing we went to Blakeney.

It could get very very nasty. Lots of infighting and general unpleasantness doesn't really serve anyone well and there is an extremely distasteful outcome which seems to me to be possible. Mr Johnson could actually end up as prime minister at some point. This would be simply awful and must surely be avoided at all costs even if it means getting into bed with terrorists and/or assassins. We've been 'in bed' with terrorists and assassins for a long time. It's made a few people very rich. What about the rest of us? What about morals? Do we totally give in to our morals just so they can make even more money? As for Boris, I mentioned how the piss taking is in our faces. Reagan was a good example of this in States, and that was a long time ago. The poiitical system is unfit for purpose (well unless you are one of the 0.001%. I see what you are saying though, stability at any cost eh? Ask yourself this, who is really creating this instability? I'm sure, well hope, there is a moral battleground going on in high places at the moment. If not we are all fucked.

My pet theory is that we are currently experiencing the post coital phase of the industrial revolution, the main outcome of which was channelling even more money to small groups of people and enslaving huge numbers of people while convincing them they need to "buy more shit or we're all fucked". Its a vicious cycle but after all the fireworks and general excitement of finding all that coal, inventing internal combustion engines etc its getting a bit tiring. They'll keep chasing the money for a few more generations because of the momentum. at some point it'll change but not in our lifetimes, even if there are 12 year olds reading this Typo edit

They are not a happy bunch and who can blame them? - Controlled by debt as soon as they leave school. - Little prospect of buying a home - Prospect of working until maybe 70 or 80. - No pubs left to go to! - Little time to spend with family and friends - Children cared for by strangers for profit - Last days being cared for by strangers for profit I reckon the protest in London ATM is just the start of real politics...

Agree but I don't think its May who has shat on them to be fair. you could maybe look at Thatcher and Brown who between them sold this country.

Oh god, I see Michael Gove is back in the cabinet. He is chief obnoxious fuckwit. And with a face like the back of a bus / smacked child's bottom, there are zero redeeming features. Embarrassingly he is from Aberdeen. Sorry about that, rest of UK.

Private Eye very often shows Gove sitting on 'the naughty stool'. Presumably because he is a cretin.

It's almost like she is taunting Boris.

Gove will serve as Kingmaker.
Boris is the least worst option.
The success of Corbyns Labour benefits us all, like it or not.

Pretty much bang on. The only surprise for me, and it's a good one, is that Jezza has managed to steadfastly hang in there without being tempted to dilute his message. Anti-establishment is the winner in these times, left or right seems not to matter.
