Would you buy a used fridge from this man?

I bet there quite a lot of influential people in this story who would very much like this to have been arson. Who gains from the initial cause being arson? Who gains from a person setting fire to a beautiful forest? The whole point about arson is that the fire is an end in itself.

I bet there quite a lot of influential people in this story who would very much like this to have been arson. Regardless of the initial cause the simple fact is it shouldn't have spread so quickly... Who gains from the initial cause being arson? If it was arson then it would involve something more flammable than just a fridge in a kitchen. Possible multiple ignition points. I think it could make a difference to some people if this proved to be a deliberate plan to burn out the whole building. As I have already told you my sensitive work as a consultant with the home office and MI6 - who are currently involved in this btw - makes it impossible for me to go into more detail on this particular incident. For detail you will have to rely on the media over the next days and weeks.

There was footage shown today which was taken showing the very early stages of the fire which as far as I could see showed the fire breaking out of a single flat.

I was the first onto the balcony during the Iranian embassy siege and even with the incendiary devices we had, we only managed to partially set fire to the place.

Yes but you didn't pay attention to the ventilation. Think of the fire in the boat. Open bottom vent etc.

Surely not our friend the Ethiopian minicab driver? I mean, if there's a fire wouldn't you try to put it out rather than filming it?

False footage deliberately released to feed the media while the real investigation is carried out. Same with the fridge man. Edit to mention I cross posted with mr snot stabber

The fridge exploded because it was used to store IEDs.
