Exactly my point, Trina - HELLO - tried to be nice on there, particularly the Bar but ...
Sorry - found "like" but yet to master "quote"!

Thanks Trina
Have made so many lovely and really genuine friends in real life in the 9 years I've been out here - so many decent people on the cut - just spent yesterday with a couple in their 80s still out here and desperate not to have to go into a house.
Think it's the keyboard thing??? So many on CWDF don't even have a boat that I find it beyond weird............ Why are they allowed not only to be members but to dictate the whole culture of a so called forum?
Never tried this forum thing before this winter and probably won't bother again - PM me and we'll catch up somewhere..

I'm actually much nicer on here than I am in real life. You probably are Kris but, sadly, the internet isn't like that......

You might not have read what I wrote, but that's okay. I don't suffer idiots in real life so I'm not going to suffer them on the Internet. Cds has been rude about me and my boat for days, making fun of my situation. Not realising that it is someone's life he's commenting on. So I just give as good as I get.

Why are they allowed not only to be members but to dictate the whole culture of a so called forum? Yes, strange, isn't it? The biggest shit-stirrer on CWDF, Graham Davis, does not own a boat, has never owned a boat, and has no ambition to own a boat yet he is seemingly able to easily manipulate the brain-dead Daniel into sanctioning any member whose opinion he disagrees with.

No, Kris - I haven't read it all and I would never judge - see earlier.
But, as I said before - the interweb is a very strange place - as the man from Das Boot did concur....
(think I saw it last week on a mooring, but don't tell 'em Pike)

I just got a PM from CDS quote..
"See you soon richard"
What an utter penis, flings nasty personal posts out, and starts laughable vaigue threats when he gets it back.

I just got a PM from CDS quote.. "See you soon richard" What an utter penis, flings nasty personal posts out, and starts laughable vaigue threats when he gets it back. Maybe he wants to apologise to you over a nice cup of tea... Seriously though, this is getting a bit silly. As far as I can see there are a few of us who frequent the MK area. It's probably best not to try and wind each other up as there is a high chance of bumping into each other...well not literally... CDS, what do you want to get out of this forum? On one hand you say you support the NBTA but on the other you seem to have a problem with boats which don't move much. If I am correct, you only move between Stoke Bruerne and Leighton Buzzard. That is just over the 20 miles CRT suggest to keep boaters off their radar. Maybe the stress CRT are causing is affecting us more than I thought.

You posted in the thread Paul if you don't wont to be included don't post in the thread. As for fuckwit, if he thinks he can talk to people like he does and get away with it. Then he deserves what he gets. If he can't take it he shouldn't give it. I'll say the same thing to his face if I see him in the flesh again. Kris, I have almost always gotten along with you. I can't recall ever arguing with you on either forum. I actually read all about your trials and tribulations on CWDF, followed your story so to say, and I was interested enough in your plight to ask you about your progress a few days ago. I never said anything judgmental about your situation and I certainly never criticized you. The fact is, you seem like a pretty decent chap. With that in mind, be objective and understand why you and Tadworth repeatedly quoting my simple question to get in your digs at cds was not a cool thing to do. You know it and I know it so don't give a bunch of "don't post in the thread crap", okay? This is an internet forum and you are getting way too excited about this whole perceived insult to yourself. CDS can be a dick at times. I know that because I'm a real dick at times too. Do you honestly think that following him around and calling him names is going to change him? There's and old saying about "Keep your friends close; and your enemies closer." Considering how diametrically opposed to each the two of you are, you should welcome debate with him, regardless of how it might aggravate you, because it gives you insight into what your opposition is thinking, and it gives you practice in defending your position. CDS is your sparring partner and he is helping prepare you for when you want to win people to your side in the real world. Remember, in the real world winning an argument or debate is much less important that convincing people to come over to your side. Okay, I've re-read this a few times and I don't see anything judgmental or critical in there, so, namaste, Dude. Peace, love and happiness - everything is tubular.
