Can I say I have no problem with Tree Huggers and some would maybe term that a derogatory phrase so please excuse the terminology as being purely for description and not derogation of peoples environmental concerns or beliefs

Fuckwit I thought you said you weren't going to post in this thread again. I said I won't be responding in kind to any more of you insults, you have lost any credibility in my opinion so I ask myself whats the point.

You can make out your posts where as benign as you like, playing to the gallery again I see. I was there I read your insulting posts, so you can't fool me. Maybe you would like to answer my question. How is sending a pm saying "see you soon" not bullying? I don't know a thing about your sexual preferences so can't comment, but I know your a fuckwit.

CDS, in your last two detailed posts you have referenced CRT... "I support the NBTA and I am a member not for anything they can do for me,I need nothing, but because we need an Alternative Narrative to CRT" " don't believe things are as bad as Kris and Tadworth make out regarding CRT and this supposed anti CC agenda of theirs" Where do YOU think CRT are out of line then? What threats do you see while CRT are in the seat of control? I presume (maybe wrongly) you have reservations about CRT as you are supporting the NBTA, but then you say you don't see a threat to CC'ers. I genuinely think they are an organisation filled with the wrong sort of people and the actions of those people are creating a climate of fear amongst many boaters, witness the stupid crass comments of that manager labelling Liveaboards as Gits for example,I think they have gone out and recruited a load of graduates and tree huggers who are totally clueless in the main. Its that old management cliche that goes something along the lines of "management is the same no matter what field you work in,it requires the same skill set wherever".I don't believe it does and this is where I think CRT are flawed managerially. I think the main theatre of operation where they are really out of line is their attempts to seize peoples homes for not moving far enough, its outside the law, morally wrong and an outrage.NBTA have won these cases in London and I applaud them for that.I see all sorts of threats while CRT are in control just as I did when BW were in control, charging, maintenance, asset sales, even obscene salaries paid to staff but thankfully most of the possibilities ,fears, worries haven't materialised. I have reservations about any sort of monopoly but as I say,I don't think this agenda regarding CC,ers has materialised or if it even exists, you may follow this up with "YET" and I would say that may be fair comment. For most people its the climate of fear rather than any direct targeting and I hope that remains the case. I agree with most of that except that I do see a threat to CC'ers. I said before that if you want to get to the truth behind the intent, look at the output. I gave a list of things I have noticed over the last few years. It's basically a gradual creep of more money being pumped into enforcment/management and less on maintenence. The 'London' problem is being dealt with as though it's a national problem, which it isn't. It's being used as an excuse to tinker with things which don't need tinkering with.

Sorry for delay in replying,I don't think output is perhaps the best "measuring stick" in this instance. Things are indeed changing as are most things in life,a somewhat trite response but true nonetheless. More money is indeed being pumped into Enforcement but I suggest that may be because of the lack of Enforcement by BW rather than a targeted agenda against CC.You know just as I do that people have flooded onto the canal completely unaware of what a CC license is let alone the Terms and Conditions implied.BW through their general unwillingness to rigidly enforce those Terms and Conditions were complicit in creating this mess. That said I don't see Continuous Moorers down on the GU south, if that is down to better Enforcement then who is going to argue? As regards lack of Maintenance I agree with that, but if its just a case of managing the budget and we have perhaps increased maintenance in the next Financial Period I don't know.I think your last point hopefully you can expand a bit on so I can get a better handle on what concerns you.

Personally I think Dan has pitched that too cheaply. I know it's only 30', I know it's a Springer, I know it's been overplated but I would be looking at getting £12-13,000 for that if it was mine. Bit of a surprise him selling up really.

Why step back, Trina? You're the one with the tape measure! I have sometimes wondered about Dan's accent - what is it? A sort of mixture of Welsh and Salopian? Sounds like plain Oswestry to me? I suppose one big downside of buying Tilly is that everywhere you go, people are going to shout out "Hellllooooo there folks!" at you.
