Some form of Yale lock, only the round brass key hole showing. Thicken the door with a block of hardwood on the inside , pu squidge and a few screws, bang a hole saw through, all neat and tidy. Alternatively, a bit more work, weld a suitable "box" on the back to do the same job, maybe a bit of channel.

Are you still putting portholes in ? Rog Yup...waiting for M4 stainless bolts to arrive..Then!π M4 seems rather thin. I'd prefer M6 csk machine screws. Some people like the M5 or M6 socket buttons but I prefer the countersunk type. Using M4 screws are you sure you didn't have a spinal tap moment?

Getting there now after fitting in a 3pot Vetus diesel / oil filter service, drinking beer & sunbathing plus doing my real job at night! Handrails and scumble undercoat done.... False rivet heads roughed up with flapper wheel.. Red leaded rivet heads......Next job scumble roof and cream side panels / fit rivets & portholes then final paint! π

One of those would be really handy for Mr Stabby to lock up scrotes. Can you do it with a little inlet for a CO2 fire extinguisher? That way there would be no blood.
