Simple question. Why did you decide to personalise the petition against a specific member of staff?

Simple question. Why did you decide to personalise the petition against a specific member of staff? Because it's her specific area. Vicky Martin is the manager for the area concerned, and I feel she is not doing the job to a satisfactory standard.

Again she is the manager for the SE region, she is responsible for the lack of maintenance. If you want the pay packet then accept the responsibility.

That is fine, I just thought that you would get a better response if you had depersonalised things and gone for CRT rather than a specific person. Just my thoughts though.

I would have done as you said, but the research I have done suggests the south east seems to have more of a problem. If I had aimed it at crt generally, many would have stated They don't have any issues in their area. I also think it may make other regional waterways managers aware that it's just not acceptable.

It would have more credibility and take-up if it didn't have the conspiracy theory bit towards the end. One cannot sign a petition unless one agrees with all of it.

I've read it and the question that tickles my mind is...Is she aware of the issues?...Wouldn't it be better to send her details and ask for a response by such and such a date....failing which it could then give u just cause to start a petition... I know in this day and age blame culture is endemic but for me I prefer that people made aware of issues and then if they chose to ignore it gives reasonable ground to proceed further

As to the picture, surely there is a nicely cut bit just a little further along? An unfortunate choice of picture. Anyway, here on the KandA there doesn't seem to be any towpath vegetation cutting!

She has received emails, had it brought to her attention at meetings etc since last summer. She has acknowledged the situation previously, but failed to address it. Time to move on.

OK guess then you are right to escalate if she's been failing to act on acknowledged facts..hopefully some one will listen

The petition amounts to nothing more than harassing someone.
Commonly used on social media when the person its aimed at cannot defend themselves.
(Cue Mr jay's stock abusive response when somebody posts something he doesnt agree with)
