Type: Advice Reason: 3rd Party Works
Please be advised that the Environment Agency will be carrying out important restoration work to Blakes Lock from 30 October 2017 to 23 March 2018. The work will include: repairing and re-sheeting lock gates, refurbishing lock chamber walls, replacing rubbing timbers and general repairs to the lock site area.
so we finally get a boat but we won't be able to leave the Kennet and avon till next March.
we wanted to do Oxford and Henley way and go to Leighton buzzard but o suppose that will have to wait. not worth the added expense, time and effort for us novices to attempt the Severn just yet and to be fair it's the wrong way anyway.
It says 30th October. I assumed bfg had taken the dates into account and was unable for one reason or another to get past Blake's in time. Maybe worth getting a boat mover to do it before the closure - get it delivered to Henley or something like that as the station is right by the River.
Bearing in mind that although it is very beautiful the Thames can be dodgy if there is a prolonged spell of heavy rain so would not suggest a first holiday on the River at that time of year !

JohnV: There are other drugs but I haven't found the side effects with Ramipril to be bad, it seems to just make my throat a bit more sensitive so things that might have just tickled my throat and make me want to clear it now make me cough.

loddon: The cough is the only one I get from ramipril, although the combinatins of drugs I am on has interesting effects.
