Methinks someone is reading a different thread and replying in this one? I see no cart apologists posting in this thread so far. I can see constructive criticism from a few who think cart does need taking to task for a variety of issues, but think there are more effective ways of doing it. The page in the OP has 20 likes btw, one of them is mine, where are the other 2980?

I suspect that they are referring to the cwdf thread, but I'm sure you know that.

A great pity you do not spend some time playing your part, rather than waiting for others to do so, then attempting to undermine their input. Over the years, I have met so many like yourself, full of condemnation for those that make the effort, whilst you sit around doing absolutely nothing. I've become thick skinned from comments like your own, but more importantly I have learnt that people like you do the talk, but much like CRT, you do little else. I've no idea why you and others do nothing other than try to undermine those making an effort, but if your happy with your ineptitude, then so be it.

I wish cwdf wouldn't get dragged up on here, every time I look on there to see what the fuss is about I wish I hadn't - it used to be a vibrant forum with interesting characters from a broad cross section of the boating spectrum, now it's a bunch of middle class retired whining I'm considerably richer/cleverer/grumpier/outraged/insular than you - delete as appropriate. What a shame.

It's like being robbed of some of your life, I'm gonna be stronger next time - it's not as if anything is going to change so I'll concentrate on something more rewarding like watching my fresh paint dry

It seems to be in an ever repeating loop. I very nearly caved in and thought about giving Rachel some advice on how to handle a shaft driven boat seeing as they consider the handling of the broads cruiser 'comedy' then I came to my senses and thought fuck it,I've too much to do without trying to teach someone who probably won't listen where they are going wrong. Still, I know which hand the prop is on the boat they have hired without having ever seen it 👍🚢⚓🍻

In my opinion it's not worth trying to explain anything to Rachael. Well not unless it's how to go away.

What a shame. I know what you mean but I don't think they're all like that. I've only been on twice and both times there were a number of very useful comments and positives as well as negatives delivered in a sensible and informed way. I don't mind anyone disagreeing with me if they accept that in the end I'm right :-) Unfortunately there is a complete dick who seems to want to spoil every thread that's posted, yes that's him the Welsh nob ed himself. Mr too scared to come on here and chat his bullshit Gray man Davis. How does he know so much about railway forums anyway? And why is he on a canal forum if he doesn't have a boat........maybe he works for CaRT. I don't know many of their managers that have ever seen a boat never mind lived on one. One of his major problems is he either doesn't read or can't understand the posts he replies to. He's stated 3 times that Jenlyn has removed the positive comments. When jenlyn said if he'd posted ALL of the comments the results would have been much worse. Which suggests to me there were no positive comments to remove. But then again I know I can't cut down a tree just because i own it. You see I can read so I know that to be the case. My personal experience of CaRT recently has not been good at all. and they certainly have not supported their own customers over the Bridgewater extortion racket. And i think they passed on information to Peel that I gave them in confidence. Having said all of that and agreeing wholeheartedly with the op and his post. A selection of 10 isn't really a fair sample I guess. Although I doubt the score would be much higher if it were 110.
