I can't image the problem was bad enough to warrant this kind of response. Just more proof that Crt are trying to create a climate of fear amongst boaters.

Abit like inspired people who run the friends scheme They have a bad reputation in fund raising circles, Crt seem to have away of picking them.

Your on the money, they prey on the week to pay their penaltys. But your other post. How can these be appealed. Saying that the first appeal with them will always fail. Hoping that the driver( in parking land) will then pay up. It would be interesting to see where the 150 quid goes. I bet crt don't see it.

Will Crt be paying this company? I can't see them making enough from the fines to make it oay.

Sometimes the car park owner will take a small cut. The only way to see an unredacted contract would be to be taken to court

I see that their understanding of what constitutes the 'main navigable channel' remains constant. P.20 of the private moorings T&C's. P20. The Trust does not warrant that there will always be adequate depth of water at the Mooring Site and is not responsible for maintaining the waterway wall or bank in sufficient condition to provide safe access to the boat moored alongside it. Where statutory maintenance obligations apply to a waterway they apply to the main navigable channel only. Can any one offer contracts for use of facilities on their own land without taking liability for the customers safety ? Doesn't sound realistic to me.

If anyone can change the above into the photo it's meant to be, please do so, or explain to me how to, so I can add a few words to it ! If that is meant to be a Red Army photo with a lady front and centre the url is imgur.com/brJbQAi.jpg

Thanks to everyone who responded so quickly and effectively ! How the hell did you do it ? . . . I've been farting about with it and getting nowhere since last night !
Anyway, . . the photo. What the hell is that all about ?
It is C&RT's Head of Enforcement, along with most of her 'familiars', but it's the joke uniforms, braid and medals that really caught my attention. It's the sort of garb that the likes of Idi Amin used to dress up in for photos and TV appearances. Just who, and what, exactly do they think they are ?

It's the sort of garb that the likes of Idi Amin used to dress up in for photos and TV appearances. Just who, and what, exactly do they think they are ? le Gestapo or the KGB maybe I have no idea if it is really Yelland it is a photo in very bad taste The photo, as it appeared on the KandA website, was captioned - "CRT Enforcement Team headed by Denise Yelland ' celebrates' its re-branding as Boat Licence Customer Support with a group photo." - I would think that 'celebrates' was in all probability a typo or an edit which, truthfully, should have read 'mourns' instead. The aspect of this which, to me, gives rise to the greatest concerns is the mindset which deems uniforms and adornments such as these as being appropriate and necessary for a group of employees whose primary function is the over zealous enforcement of the unnecessary , and frequently oppressive, regimentation of the manner of use to which pleasure craft are put. 'Delusions of grandeur' is a phrase which comes readily to mind, and any such delusions really must have their origins in the attitudes and thinking of the arseholes at the top, CEO Richard Parry and Chairman Alan Leighton.
