We have so much firewood we don't know what to do with it - and there's still the forest round the bus garage to be cut down! The boathouse I made for my boat (which I sold a year ago) is now the haunt of logs. Sounds like you too need a Pontiac GTO powered log splitter 👍 His school bus should be quite torquey. Kids will enjoy it too

Boys Boys Boys There's to much swinging of log splitters, filling wedges up with gunpowder, taking wheels off a car for a spike etc etc. All you need is one of these little fella's....... LINK

I believe this to be true, that for birch anyway, it's easier to split with an axe when fresh. When it's dry it's like trying to gnaw your way through a steak with false teeth. I want to find lots and lots of Autumn leaves to put on in our boat stove to make loads of smoke! That'll make you popular.... I find sawing older wood very difficult...I'm not very good with an axe
