I may take it apart and give it a good clean or might just get a man in.

If you take pipe off where it connects to burner pan under fire you should be able see diesel coming out if you turn it on, connect up and empty burner pan of the diffusers and see if fuels there if not its the tee connector joint incorporating the cleaning handle that's dusted up as your quote...good luck buddy! :-)

Yeah there's some stuff about cleaning in the manual, would be good exercise to work through it even if it's not the main problem. Seems it would be unusual for the burner tube to be completely coked but y'never know... maybe had a superficial clean before the bote changed hands.

On posting N°3 (first page) Robbo asked if there was fuel coming out of the valve on the right.
On posting N°4 thebfg aswered : Post by thebfg on Dec 27, 2017 at 5:53pm
Can't see anything else. The vavle that is on the right. Pulls right out and nothing still comes through.
If there's no fuel coming out of this valve, even with a perfect Toby regulator, the Bubble stove won't work, as it needs oil.
Maybe someone knows a trick to make it work without any fuel getting to it, and if that's the case, I would be very interested in knowing how, as the fuel for the CH on my boat is becoming too expensive.
Thanks in advance for the person that can explain this trick to me.
Peter.

I took the pipe of the inline fuel cut off on the right wall and yes fuel came out this is before the pipe gets to the toby valve. I meant to question that i could only a valve in the left but it came out wrong. I then cane to my senses and took that pipe off.

But since then you know that that's just the cleaning/poking rod, which doesn't always get all the hard soot/carbon out. I'm sure you'll get there in the end, never give up. Peter.

Firstly can I offer a massive thunderboat thank you to all you experts. We came to the boat today to spend half term on it. The in laws came with us. Well as it is their boat. I explained the problems and said fuel is getting to here but i think something is blocked in this control unit. I was going through the actions and turned the fuel on, low and behold fuel came through. We chucked in a firelighyers and voila. So thank you so much. It kept dieing down but I've thing I've sorted it and so far it' staying alight.

Good . being on a boat at night in February you do need heating. It was cold enough today to warrant me putting Fairlight's Wallas 40D on for Bonehead while I worked on a freezing cold Northern Star! Back home with him curled up by a radiator now 👍
