Bog standard cheese and onion for me. Sometimes I throw a couple of slabs of Choritzo in. Cheese & onion is my favourite when in a cafe etc.For home made-a thick,veg curry toastie is yummy.

Straying, as is my wont, to butty shops, I prefer bacon, mushrooms and black pudding on a brown muffin, no butter, definitely no marge. Having said that I noticed spam on the menu t'other week, 2 generous thick slices on brown. That brought back memories. (Of life in a paper bag int'middle o't road)

As this forum claims to be mainly sweaty sweary ole codgers i think most of us will recognise the references...be interesting to hear how many don't as lots of the iconic old stuff such as Python references do travel through time...they are eternal....
