Alle bloody lueya!!! At last! Just think if you'd answered plain and simple when I asked it would have saved all that bandwidth..... martin just for clarity I don't have to do what you or Nick want. As I've pointed out i don't give a fig about what you think. Of course you don't have to, who on earth suggested such a thing? But you moaned about me not 'shutting up' when you could have 'shut me up' several pages back. You chose however not to so we are where we are. Hey ho....

Just to shut Martin up, (if that's possible.) It was a short canalisec section between two river sections, so to move the boat in either direction would have meant going on a river in flood. In that case you can freely wallow in your righteous indignation with a clear conscience. Enjoy!

They're a real comic turn, aren't they. I gave up trying to count how many of them there were to do something that didn't need more than a couple of hands with a bit of know-how. Wonder what they do in their regular day jobs ? I made it 9 ....... They really do believe in doing things the hardest possible way ...... and if you are pulling something unstable who was the numb nuts that tied the rope to the cabin top Where would you have tied the rope to instead John, if your aim was to make the boat capsize as qick as possible. I'm sure they were disappointed that they didn't manage to make that happen. If I would have a problem, and they would ask me if I needed their help, I would tell them that the best help they could possibly give me was to get out of my vision Peter.

This is similar to the crap I had last winter being iced in. I did post the email battle on here I think. It carried on for several days until Mike (gripes) Grimes head of boating suddenly quit. I didn't get an apology from them, but it was wiped from my record. Your dealing with idiots sat in an office staring at Google maps, that's the problem most of the time.

I think the thing that annoyed me most is the manager kept making out she was doing me a Favour helping me out by talking to me about it. Surely this is her job.

Whilst waiting for the sale to go throuΔ£h . The fil took me to look at their new boat.
There was a you have no license letter on the boat when we arrived.
They got a little worried but the boat was still on brokerage in their marina on the trade plates.

What a nice way to welcome new paying customers.

Trade plates? I'd have thought the previous owner was responsible for the licence, what's it got to do with the broker? Genuine question.

Ooh I missed the squabbling and bickering. I think that , to ask for further info about the situation, to inform the discussion, is reasonable. The problem is that some then see that as evidence that the evidence is to be used to the detriment of the poster with the problem. After several pages of drivel by all concerned Kris then posted a clear picture. Fair enough, he is in the right, stuck in floods, CaRT are wrong. What is wrong with us seeing the evidence, the complete picture in the first place. It's a discussion forum.
Ohhhhh I'm a twat!
I've only posted this to up my votes in the Best Twat competition BTW.

Luckily it sold in a week but it might not have.

The thread was never about whether Kris should have moved, the exact situation was irrelevant. The only reason to ask for these details would be if you thought kris was lying. Even if he was it's still irrelevant. CRT's response to this general situation of black marking people who can't move safely as overstayers, then refusing to remove the unwarranted black mark was the topic and Kris used his experience as an example. Had he not done so, no doubt the naysayers would accuse him of making it up and demand details of his personal experience of this.
