This is why talking to people about the transference of assets is good. It brings it home to them that it does effect them. all someone has to say is ...."It will take money away from what was to be spent on the NHS" and true or not ..... you're scuppered Not really because it's not a question of either or. It doesn't need extra money from the goverment. But you can be as negative as you like. Sorry that last line sounds a bit harsh.but what's the alternative? Do nothing and let them get away with destroying all of our heritage?

Correct me if I'm wrong here. The reason why this thread has taken a turn is that the Government/CRT wanted to offload some of our borrowings at a less favourable rate just to make the balance sheet look better.
