I like the French expression "comme pisser dans un violon". Indicates something pointless and unlikely to lead to rewarding outcomes.
Its like passing in a violin.

That's all very sad, and very far from an optimistic future for the survival of the waterways. They have to borrow and sell to make sure that there's plenty of money for their retirement. Well earned with the great job they've done so far for the distruction of a beautifull asset. Peter. |

I suspect it might get difficult putting a boat on there that isnt designed for the job! The bathtub still has its broads number on it though so should be ok |
