Good video John, but it's such a crying shame that it's finished.
I can't understand why the waterways don't get used more in this time and age.
I'm sure that C&RT is happy- and also at least partly (if not more) responsible for this.

Major refurb of the lock, 3 month stoppage to end of March. Couldn't get near for a recce, fenced off. We had a bit of trouble getting alongside the visitors moorings, bottom coming up to meet the top. Anyway it was a nice day out. Gonna have a word with C & RT about the shallow visitor moorings. The bridge is swung for the duration of the works.

Same here I have never seen that bridge in use!! I also didnt think it worked learn something new every day
