Their is no need for it I love the fact that these creatures come a knocking it shows a trust that is sadly lacking in human beings. With luck the dash cam will show the driver could have stopped and he will be prosecuted more than likely eastern european anyway

It's usually better just to run over an animal rather than swerve or dangerously slam on the brakes. Better a few dumb swans get killed than a car full of kids.
If he was eastern European surely he would have stopped and eaten the swans?

However I agree, the bird that posted the story does say its a busy dual carriageway and you got idiots saying he should have stop or have swerved. I wonder what they would be saying if they had gone into the back of him or he swerved into their lane. Its a shame but accidents happen. no biggie. I mean you have comments such as " It's against the law 2 hurt the queens swan, surely he could see the birds n change lane" Is it that simple lol.
she is reacting like it was a kid that he hit though, my best guess is he never saw them, well thats what he will say now, all pointless as no crime or any breach of a traffic act has been broken, its a bird FFS
