I was reading today that a chief economist has come out and said that it is impossible for Hillary Clinton to win the American Presidential Election. His contention is that the Social Contract, the agreement between the "Ruled" and the "Rulers" is now broken and Americans no longer want the establishment,In other words its not Donald Trump they are voting for but the change that they believe he will bring about.I call it a scorched earth policy,he represents chaos in a world of order and that is what the American people want. Perhaps more interesting he links Trump with the rise of Nationalism in countries such as France and the Brexit vote here. The alternative to the above is simply to go on with more of this Emergency Rubbish which in the last eight years has solved nothing.

I think Hillary will win, but unfortunately none of the candidates have any credibility (except possibly Sanders).
What it needs is a 'white knight' to ride in and take over - an intelligent, compassionate outsider. Unfortunately the Presidency is such a poisoned chalice that only zombies can survive it. Obama certainly hasn't.

I'd like to see Trump elected as president. Not because I like him, not at all. The best word I can think to describe him is probably; knob. But despite him being a knob him being elected would result in an aftermath of truly spectacular entertainment. I know, I'm selfish, not everyone wishes to be entertained in such ways. But on a more practical level there's no doubt that such a presidential appointment would cause a worldwide shock. This might pave the way towards a brake in the insidious march towards liberalism and political correctness gone mad. Sure, blood will be spilt but it would anyway.

Yes Ricco I suspect he is in with a shout and maybe it is a good thing? He may stop getting involved in countries that dont want american interference. The USA has enough problems of its own without involving itself in other problems, just ask yourself have they really ever in the last 40 years sorted anything out with their involvement? Or have they made things into such a mess that it will never get sorted?

If it was up to me- and it isn't- I would sooner see Hillary Clinton as the next president by a country mile. I would assume her general ethos to be similar to that of her husband, and the Bill Clinton presidency was a time of relative world stability.

I don't think Hillary Clinton can or will have an impact on world stability,I think the only choice is more of the same with Clinton or Trump where change will happen.Good change or bad change I don't know.He has already talked about Saudi Arabia and countries enjoying Americas umbrella contributing financially, makes a lot of sense to some.

I disagree, I think she would be the worst possible winner. Of the candidates, I see her as the most likely to escalate the situation with Russia. Look at her 'achievements' as secretary of state e.g. Libya . Bernie Sandres talks the talk, but has already said he will support hitlery if he loses the nomination. Someone on another forum suggested that if Trump and Sanders failed to get the party nominations, they should stand together as third party candidates. Makes as much sense to me as anything else.

Well the wheel seems to have come off the Trump bandwagon which is a good thing, finally.
His crass comments about punishing women for partaking in (illegal) abortions showed his true colours, if it already wasn't obvious and his attemp at clarification exposed him as a two faced oaf.
The last thing the world needs is somebody like him in charge of the worlds most powerful nation.

Attachment Deleted Donald Trump is a circus showman who'll have a heart attack soon - just look at his red face. However, he's saying what people want to hear. And he may even get things done in that direction. By the way, he ain't entirely stoopid as he's selling his 'Vote Trump' baseball hats (Made in China!) for 25 Dollars a hat. Hillary will always be known as the woman who's husband tried to get an intern to give him a blow job under the table in the Oval Office. Just as Cameron is nowadays known as the pig-fucker. Run Peppa, run!

I am not so sure. The most surprising thing is that Trump is at this juncture at all,how pissed off with the Political Establishment must the people of America be?

All these elections are a circus to keep the idiots occupied whilst the politicians rob us blind.

Run Peppa, run! Not by me. I had really and truly forgotten about both of those irrelevancies. Trust you to bring them up.
