Yup. I am. I have had more important things to think about, such as where to find the right kind of cat litter, than to be concerned about religious nuts. Hmmm shall I explain? No, maybe not! I see that the phrase ‘anti-semitism card’ is being used in some media sources (even in the Jewish Post). Is ‘playing this card’ subtly using the holocaust as a means to take focus away from the greedy behaviour of some people?

They all seem to get on fine in Jerusalem too. Makes you wonder who stirs things up and why? Surely not that divide and conquer thing again?

I’m not quite clear what the difference is between an Arab living in Jerusalem and one living in Gaza. But presumably the latter can’t just decide for themselves to become one of the former. But I think it would be wrong to think of the Arab Palestinians to all be a homogenous group. Ultimately some (most) Palestinians see the Israelis as an invading force. Which of course they are. I suppose it depends on whether you find that unacceptable and that will in part depend on how good your life is under the invaders. If you are a relatively wealthy Arab living in Jerusalem, you might find it easier to “suck it up” than if you are living in the ghetto of Gaza.

I suspect everyone in this world has to put up with a degree of ‘sucking up’ to something or someone. Or maybe we should see it more as a mutual arrangement. The point is that most people on the street do get along. So why do some people in powerful positions delight in stirring things up. For example, Trump making a big point about recognising Jerusalem as the Israeli capital. In a world where money rules, could it be that it’s all about manipulation of the financial market so that certain investors ‘in the know’ make shit loads of money?

How do they play Pokemon Go in Gaza Strip?
They grab a round rock from the ground and say: "Pick-a-jew"!

Is that all you have got..... poor show this time... Quiet news weekend... Thought someone would have raised the subject of Johnson and the pillboxes or similar but all been very boring! I can normally rely on the sandal wearing lefties getting a bit uppity whenever Labour is mentioned!
